Hedeture is a series of nature walks for women in midlife, hosted on the open heathlands of North Zealand and Central Jutland. These walks are for those entering, in, or emerging from menopause, women in transition from one life phase to another.
Led by two wise women, you will walk, pause, and reflect in landscapes shaped by centuries of change. You will explore what it means to shift: physically, emotionally, and existentially.
In 2025, Hedeture will include both Sunday walks and weekend gatherings. All take place on the heath, a landscape that holds stories of erosion, resilience, and restoration. The walks are shaped by quiet, conversation, body-based sensing, and simple shared rituals.
About Anne Leonora and Anne Weber:
Each walk is led by one of the two Hedeture founders:
Anne Leonora Blaakilde (Sjælland) is a PhD in aging, gender, and generational studies, a folklorist, and a nature therapist. Her work explores life transitions through stories, ceremony, and embodied practice.
Anne Weber Carlsen (Jylland) holds an MA in Nordic literature and is a long-time facilitator, consultant, and founder of Human by Nature, working at the intersection of myth, ecology, and regenerative development.
Weekend tours are co-facilitated and offer a deeper immersion in the heath, community, and the possibilities of entering a new stage of life.
What is included
- A full-day (6-hour) walk or a weekend experience on the heath
- Guided structure with silence, movement, shared themes, and nature-based reflection
- A simple theme shared in advance
- Gentle facilitation, grounded in research, folklore, and body-based practices
Practical information
- This experience is only for women in midlife
- To bring: Packed lunch, cup, water bottle, a mat and blanket. On weekend walks: tent or shelter gear (packing list provided).
