What you will do

Connect with your body in an African dance class led by Elisabeth, founder of Danish-Ghana cultural exchange with over 30 years of experience as a teacher of African dance. Elisabeth has spent a significant amount of time in Ghana over the past few decades, learning the techniques and freedom of African dance, and loves to continue bridging the gap by teaching dance to new people.

Join Elizabeth afterwards in her amazing tiny home where you will experience what it's like living in a sustainable home in the community of Christiania. Elizabeth has over 30 years of experience working across cultures, as a teacher of African dance, and has been living in Christiania since the 70s.

Elizabeth will show you around her gardens, and will invite you to connect on a topic close to her heart: How to live a sustainable life, spiritually and physically. Come with an open mind and all the questions you can think of, and gain some new life perspectives from a person full of wisdom.

Elisabeth

Elisabeth is a danish dancer, singer, drummer, traveller and teacher. She has been living in Africa for several years working as a teacher and has been involved in starting a cultural exchange between Danes and Ghanaians sin 1984. In collaboration with others, she created the “Folkloric Selamta Cultural Center” - a cultural center outside Accra in Ghana., where she teaches Folkloric Selamta. In Denmark, Elisabeth has taught at all kinds of institutions for younger and older people.
